Summer Glau is an American actress famous for appearing as River Tam in the critically popular TV show Firefly as well as Cameron in the television series Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. She has also guest-starred in Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck, Hawaii Five-0 and The 4400. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Marcela Quintanilla's daughter and Selena's birth date was 16 April 1971 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Selena was a part of her father's group as she was eight years old. The band was composed of Selena and her older siblings Abraham junior, who played base guitar and sister Suzette playing drums and Selena sang in the group. Selena Y Los Dino, the band she performed with was known as Selena Y Los Dino. She would also perform at wedding fairs, as and in restaurants. Selena, her sisters and their parents were always busy with the band. They didn't have an early childhood. Yet Abraham helped them become determined musicians because of his passion. Abraham senior was a member of Los Dinos, the band which started the whole thing. Selena Y Los Dinos formed officialy in 1981. The family business was called Selena Y Los Dinos. It was the principal income source for the family. The Quintanilla family was determined to succeed despite the difficulties and the lack of money initially. Selena Y Los Dinos became popular in western states by late 1980s. Selena won the Female Vocalist Award and the award for Performer of the Year at the Tejano awards in the year 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos grew in recognition and popularity from that moment on. They have appeared in many Spanish TV shows, including El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre In Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
