Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was a player for Australia in the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana to stay off the field for many years prior to making the transition back to league. Allana was a star for New South Wales in her debut Women's Rugby League match against Queensland in 2015, a game she also took part in during 2015. Allana's radio career has grown as she regularly appears with 2GB's Continuous Call Team, a top-rated show. In addition to her work in sport, Allana is also a qualified instructor. Allana Ferguson has the unique distinction of having represented Australia in three sports: Rugby sevens (rugby league) along with touch, and also rugby union. Allana Ferguson is a Jillaroos' rugby player and fourth time tear to the ACL has ended her football career. She had torn the ligament on the same knee while she was between the ages of 15 and 17 and following a 4th tear, this meant that Ferguson's playing time was up. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker, has been forced to leave early from the squad after suffering a fourth left ACL tear. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training during November. Ferguson has been the female player of the Women's Rugby League for several seasons.
